Our history began in April 1990 when Mr Koh Yang Kee and four partners founded Yang Kee Container Services Pte Ltd in response to Singapore's status as a 24/7 global logistics hub. Spurred by our client-centred commitment to excellence, we steadily expanded our range of value-added services to benefit our growing customer base. By March 1997, we were incorporated as Yang Kee Logistics Pte Ltd to reflect the broader nature of our services. While providing total end-to-end logistics solutions, we continued to fortify our services by diversifying into the complementary, including Projects, Loose Container Load and Container Freight Stations services.
Today, we have evolved into one of Singapore and Malaysia's leading medium-sized logistics companies, with an overall annual turnover of S$50 million, a 200-strong local and overseas manpower, a comprehensive range of wholly-own assets, and an extensive global container network with top sea and air freight carriers. Close to two decades of history of enduring client partnerships attests to our credibility in providing a diversified range of zero-failure logistics services. To affirm our consistent dedication to service quality, we are in the midst of attaining ISO 9001:2000/ 2008, BizSafe Level 3, OHSAS 18000:1999/ 2007, BCM and People Developer certification.
Since 1997, we have been an active member of the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) and of the Federation Internationale Des Associations De Transitaires Et Assimiles (FIATA). These affiliations, coupled with our sheer experience acquired through extensive client partnerships, have empowered us to support you in all aspects of supply chain logistics in innovative yet practical ways. Even so, to stay in the forefront of changing technology and logistical trends, we are continually improving both effectiveness and efficiency of our supply chain logistics services and solutions.
